Two more Scalers have been revealed by NECA. The new photo shows off film versions of Rocket Raccoon and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy.

The figure will feature a cel-shaded paint job, 25 points of articulation and numerous accessories. They confirm the figure will come packaged in a video game styled box, similar to previous NES character releases.
The figure will be decked out in red pants and a cel-shaded paint job. It will include a bazooka, a knife, and a bow and arrow.


NES Rambo is due out in January 2015. It will be limited to a single production run.

NECA has shared a photo of their next Retro Mego Style Cloth Figure, which will be a Gorilla Soldier from the original Planet of the Apes film franchise. The 8? tall figure will feature a cloth outfit and a rifle.

The figure ships in January.

Here is a breakdown for the Captain Action exclusives being offered at this years New York Comic Con.

The first exclusive is a wild one. Captain Action will be on the cover of the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide next year to help celebrate their 45th Anniversary. Paul (Master of Kung Fu, Batman, Sabre) Gulacy’s sleek & sexy illustration, in the spy-movie-tradition, exceeded everyone’s expectations.

As part of this whole effort, Overstreet had made a limited quantity of a Captain Action figures using this Overstreet Cover Artwork. They’ll use them as a unique, collectible gift for the Overstreet Advisors. Internally, it`s calling this the Overstreet Coffin Box Captain Action.


NYCC EXCLUSIVE – TONNER SUPERGIRL UNIFORM

NYCC EXCLUSIVE – DR. EVIL AS LOKI

Here’s the third NYCC Exclusive. This displays really well, and although it was created for the more casual fan, it will be a very cool addition to anyone’s collection.

This one is being called “Dr. Evil as Loki” NYCC Exclusive. Just like the name says, this one is a Dr. Evil figure disguised in the Loki costume. It’s packaged in a retro style coffin box that we shows Loki at his most mischief-est, plotting against he half-brother Thor.

And for the die-hard collectors, we’re creating a special limited edition variant with a Cape! This yellow cloak is what all the stylish Asgardians wear on those frosty nights.

Their portrayal of the High Elf has her in a battle ready stance, and is captured in 1/6 scale, placing her at 15.5 inches tall.

DC Collectibles has released an new DC All-Access video showcasing their upcoming line of 7" Scale Designer Series figures based on Jae Lee`s artwork from the Batman/Superman comic book series. The figures which will be released in the Summer of 2015 will include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Catwoman who will come with an alternate head with her goggles above her eyes.

Funko has sent out the first images and info for a new line they will be producing. Pocket Pop! Tins are 3-packs of miniaturized Pop! Vinyl Figures that come in a collectible window tin box. Each Pocket Pop! measures in a 1.5? tall as opposed to the 3.75? tall standard Pop! Vinyls.

December will see the release of their Frozen Pocket Pop! Tin, with DC Comics, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and My Little Pony to hit in January.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare Series 1 Minimates box set, which is available at comic and specialty shops, contains two zombies and four plants.

The figures are based, not on the garden defense games, but on EA’s Garden Warfare. There they take some of the designs and settings from the Plants vs Zombies series and drop them into an over the top multi-player shooter.
